| What We Believe |
We believe:
There is one God who
has always existed in three persons; the Father, His only Son, Jesus
Christ and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is
deity. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, death on
a cross to provide for our redemption, bodily resurrection and ascension
into heaven, present ministry of intercession for us, and His return to
earth in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit is
deity. He performs the miracle of the new birth in an unbeliever and
indwells believers, enabling them to live a godly life.
The Bible is God's
only written revelation to all people and it is inspired, authoritative,
and without error in the original manuscripts.
Man was created in
the image of God, but because of sin, was separated from God.
This separation can
be removed only by accepting, through faith alone, God's gift of
salvation which was made possible by Christ's death and resurrection.
The Church is a
living organism, a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ and the
Bride of Christ. As a living, growing organism, composed of diverse
members, we seek to experience God through fellowship, discipleship,
worship, ministry and evangelism. As a body of baptized believers,
under the leadership of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we seek unity,
effective coordination of fruitful ministry and obedience to the
biblical commandments of Jesus Christ.
The Bible provides
the instruction for two and only two ordinances: Believer’s Baptism and
the Lord’s Supper.
